When shipping to an APO or FPO address please note:

• Not all items can be shipped to APO / FPO addresses.
• Orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail Service.
• The delivery time to the APO or FPO is totally dependent on the military mail service and may take as long as a month. We have found that it typically takes a couple of weeks.
• Shipping charges will show during checkout, after you select the delivery address. Amazon shopping cart does not make the deduction automatically, you will see an adjustment in the amount of the shipping charges on the day we ship your order.
• Tracking details available until delivered to the Military Post Office in New York or San Francisco. There is no way to track the order or to ensure its safe delivery. Our experience has been good, 99.9% of the time, but problems do happen.
• Also realize that there is no way to protect overexposure to heat if shipped to a climate above 75 degrees.

Jennifer started her hike from Mount Katahdin, Maine to Springer Mountain, Georgia in mid-June 2011.  Her goal is to hike the entire 2,180-mile faster than the current overall speed record of 47 days, 13 hours and 31 minutes. To break the record, she will hike an average of 47 miles a day.
